Beethoven is one of my favorite composers and Symphony No. 7 is one of my absolute favorites. So much passion. I love closing my eyes and getting lost in the textures of his music...but missing the great, beloved expressions in Leonard Bernstein's conducting is too much to miss. This is a beautiful performance.
